Eric Whitenight, Owner

After many years of working as lead carpenter and foreman for major New York City construction firms, Eric launched Whitenight New York general contracting company in 2011. He began working in construction on odd jobs as a teenager, exploring the worlds of mathematics, electrical engineering, physics and sculpture in college, always gravitating back toward carpentry. When not on the job site, Eric is often working on his own Astoria home with his kids Eve and Max, who’ve been assisting him with tiling and cabinetry since they were old enough to hold tools.
